Created 1/16/2023 1:37:29 PMTo use Dongle programmer on your MadJax X2 cart, please, follow the instructions below.
Download the app Controller BC on your phone. Use Google Play if you have Android phone or Apple Store if you have an Iphone, type Controller BC in the search bar and download the app.
- Username and password are both 00200.
- Make sure Band is 250.
- Press Connect when the page shows up – it won’t automatically connect. Once it turns green you can change the speed value.
Use the excel sheet to calculate the max motor speed needed for your tires and desired speed. Open
How to use Dongle programmer on the X2:
The 2 pin connector for the dongle will be connected to the lithium harness, it should have a blue and white wire. You can connect there to program the controller, then plug it back into the lithium harness when you’re done.Your cart may actually be red and black or brown and green wires, but they should be labelled CANH and CANL.
Please see the screen recording video and the picture below – plug the device in, turn it on, and press the Bluetooth button so that it is highlighted blue. If you haven’t charged it, you may need to plug it in to USB as well. The login and password for the Controller BC app are both 00200. Use the Excel sheet to calculate the maximum motor RPM to set a maximum speed – just put the desired speed in B5 or D5 (for MPH and KPH respectively). The 2 carts must have 16.2:1 rear ends; there should be a sticker on the axle shaft to confirm that.
